Swishing Door

So you know when you're a mermaid and having an exploratory swish whilst swimming amongst all things at the bottom of the sea? Supposing that really enthusiastic swish clears a doorway which hasn't been opened for centuries and you can sense it's magical-ness. Do you think light or dark magic is behind it? Swishing Door is part of my Doorways Collection. This collection has been created using collage as a base layer and then painting in acrylic with a palette knife. The combination of the collage and palette knife painting forms a textured effect that draws your eye into all the nooks and crannies that the paint and pattern have settled into.
