Singing The Blues is part of my Beautiful Blooms Collection - I've discovered that I like painting these sumptuous, character-filled flowers! They're created using collage as a base layer and then painting in acrylic using a palette knife. The combination of the collage and palette knife painting forms an imaginative extra-textured effect that draws your eye into all the nooks and crannies that the paint seems to have magically settled into.
