Print: Head For Heights

It always astounds me how plants appear to have a head for heights. Plants don’t feel wobbly (or they disguise it well if they do!) or fall off ladders unless someone wobbles them. Is this a tip for life? Stand your ground no matter how high up from the ground you feel.

Head For Heights is part of my is part of my Enchanting Shop Fronts Collection. My eyes are always drawn to interesting buildings, shops and streets, and you'll see that I love painting the rambling blooms that add an architecture all of their own around them! They're created using collage as a base layer and then painting in acrylic using a palette knife. The combination of the collage and palette knife painting forms an imaginative extra-textured effect that draws your eye into all the nooks and crannies that the paint seems to have magically settled into.
