Print: Gleaming Rays

Low bright sunshine is warming the bricks and enticing the leaves on my plants to reach for those last gleaming rays. The courtyard outside looks clear now and I'm looking forward to raising a glass to the end of another colourful day. Never a non-colourful one here!

The Enchanting Store Fronts Collection

Gleaming Rays is part of my is part of my Enchanting Shop Fronts Collection. My eyes are always drawn to interesting buildings, shops and streets, and you'll see that I love painting the rambling blooms that add an architecture all of their own around them! They're created using collage as a base layer and then painting in acrylic using a palette knife. The combination of the collage and palette knife painting forms an imaginative extra-textured effect that draws your eye into all the nooks and crannies that the paint seems to have magically settled into.
