Lacy Edges

Petticoats waft gently in the breeze as they sit in layers, waiting their turn to show their textures and colours. Will they waltz or foxtrot, tango or rumba? Which hues will be able to show off their full mesmerising beauty? The rhythms start up, it's the Viennese waltz! Starting poised and demure, then swaying slowly as they're whisked around the pale blue floor. Eventually swirling and turning this way and that as the beats dictate the changes in ever-twirling circles, mapping out paths for delicate heels around the dancefloor in the sky.

There's a lull as the tide changes and the lacy edges are all that can be seen, beautiful in their renewed airiness as they gather their breath ready for the next dance.
