Contrast Peek

The skies are never the same from one day to the next but sometimes a rare burst of contrast peeks through the other hues. Rolling purples, greys and blues are punctured with stark whites of bolted colour. Like a splash of errant white emulsion on a dark wall or floor, it forces one to look at those surrounding them differently and reflect on what we thought we knew. We can choose to mourn or to embrace the new vista as our subjectivity shifts. Can we ever know anything or anyone truly? Is the energy brand new or simply a reminder or something forgotten?
