Bedraggled amongst her branches, leaves draped wetly so that she dries out secondarily to all of those around her. Sometimes she just has to gather her gumption and apply depths of patience that she didn’t know she had.

Bedraggled Door is part of my Doorways Collection. This collection has been created using collage as a base layer and then painting in acrylic with a palette knife. The combination of the collage and palette knife painting forms a textured effect that draws your eye into all the nooks and crannies that the paint and pattern have settled into.
