I’m writing to you from the Treehouse in Lochcarron during a precipitation-inspired day. The rain drops are playing their own rhythm on the roof and the adjacent river is flowing merrily past, creating foam smiles as it rushes around and over random rocks.
The magic spell of the Treehouse has cast itself yet again, and I’ve extended my exhibition dates until next week. It’s a lovely space in which to have my paintings and drawings to show themselves off, and I adore being here too.
So, here are the new dates:

I also recorded a video tour to give you a flavour of the exhibition too:
You may notice that several of my charcoal landscapes are now mounted in a beautiful cream surround, and a few are framed. Click the button below to see them:
My week has almost entirely of an exhibition-based focus, which means it is both fabulous and also baffling as I try to work out why I get so tired. This isn’t new, I’ve been exhibiting for years and every time I’m surprised - as if I expect myself to be Herculean all of a sudden!
Wishing you a happy weekend ahead, and I look forward to welcoming you to the Treehouse if you happen to pop by x
