Studio News w/e 31 July '26

And so we reach the end of July! I make a commitment to myself to review and consider how the last few weeks have been at the end of every month, and prepare for the next one - do you do the same?

This week has been one of painting progress on the easel. Literally that is! Here's my painting mid-paint as it were:

I'm still deliberating whether paper is a happy medium to withstand the painting processes I inflict on my surfaces, but only time will tell.

Preparation is in place for next week's exhibition:

All my newest paintings and drawings will be on the walls this time, which is really exciting.

There are pricing labels to sort out, bubble wrap to retrieve (as I left it behind in Waternish) and my wits to gather before a very early start to set up on Tuesday. I'm really looking forward to being in the Treehouse again and amongst the other lovely business owners and creatives in the Old Smithy Hub - and to seeing you too if you can pop along.

The final couple of Wild Abandon-themed products have been introduced to my ArtOnEverythingShop over on Etsy this week (click on the images for more info):

There's quite a collection of products with Wild Abandon featured on them now, here's a quick peek:

Off to try and fit even more exhibition things into Buttercup the Beetle now. Onwards!

Happy weekend and new month tomorrow to you x
