Writing this week from a whole heap of upheaval as house-decorating is fully underway, as is decluttering and trying to do financial planning. In the midst of this, my laptop keeps crashing after one of its updates, and I get about five minutes at a time on there. I am trying to stealthily sort it out, and it’s just taking days of my time. You can imagine the frustration! I’m writing this on my iPad, hoping that the website app will continue working for a little while.

Before the laptop fell prey to Microsoft mayhem, I decided that I was living in a muddle of juggling lots of things. Too many for my head to manage, so decided to have a JFDI period of sorting as much as I could.

At the same time, an email from someone I have taken many courses with before landed in my inbox:

40 Days Unleashed is about tackling  the task/habit/mindset/goal(s) that we have been meaning to get a head start of concerted effort on in an intuitive way. It doesn’t matter when one starts, it’s just a way of helping one start and keep going, with daily audio prompts to help things along.

It felt right for me, especially at this time, so I have started
40 Days Unleashed this week!

So that’s been my week of having no studio space, and having the mode of doing what I usually do when this happens (getting new products issued on Etsy, updating my website etc) also made defunct. Plus, my car is feeling delicate on the steering front, so hotfooting it up and down the island to my Waternish studio is a bit of a mechanical risk.

Still, much practicality has been applied, and lets hope that things are much more art-based soon.

On the upside, the posters for the Festive Shopping Weekends in Waternish have arrived:

It's always lovely to be open in the festive months, and what a joy to share this with other local businesses as I open Lynne’s Art Shed for these weekends.

Wishing you a happy weekend, and I hope that your time is smooth-running with no hitches x
