As planned, my paintings and I departed from the Treehouse on Tuesday - and can't wait to return again next month! It's always a delightful experience, and there's a really special energy there which I love.
Since then, much driving, lifting and moving of boxes and paintings has been undertaken, not leaving terribly much time for studio work. I did however, start a charcoal drawing during the exhibition. Here's a photo of it in progress:

I have larger paper for this new drawing (see supply links below), which I hope will be the start of several.
Since things are changing in my physical space here, a more portable way of creating could well be the way forward for a little while, so I'm looking to develop the charcoal drawings where I can. More on this as I cogitate further.
Until then, wishing you a happy weekend x
P.S. I'm often asked about the art materials I use in my practice. These are the surfaces and materials I used for my charcoal drawing (some are affiliate links):
Surfaces:
- A3 cotton rag paper - I found mine on Amazon (click here for the link)
Materials:
- Coates charcoal - click here for the link at Jacksons Art.
I'm an affiliate of Jacksons Art, which means I earn a small amount every time a purchase is made using one of the above links at no additional cost to yourself. Thank you in advance for supporting me this way.
